Why beer with local scientists?

She enjoys shouting about how much she loves science, and aside from organizing Science Distilled, she is a producer and host for The Story Collider, a science storytelling show. Eva ColbergAfter leaving her frigid Alaskan home to pursue ecology and conservation, Eva discovered she much prefers hot and muggy areas such as the tropics, or Missouri in the summertime. As a PhD student at the University of Missouri - Saint Louis, she studies the effects of prescribed burning on ant-mediated seed dispersal in Missouri Ozark woodlands. Sometimes she draws and paints things from nature. She also has a habit of putting leaves in her pockets and then forgetting about them.
